F. A. Q’s.

Q:  Is OliveTree an accredited school?

A:  No, OliveTree is a support for homeschooling parents.  We provide enrichment classes for K-5th grades.  We teach various classes, assign homework and grade assignments for parents in grades 6th-12th.

Q:  Do you have a private community on FaceBook?

A:  Yes, parents who have students enrolled at OliveTree can join this private group to build community, ask questions of your community and share encouraging homeschool information.

Q:  What curriculum do I need for K-5th grade?

A:  K-5th grade at OliveTree is enrichment.  The classes are Art, Music, PE, Science Lab and Geography.  There is no curriculum to buy, all is supplied.  There is no homework in K-5th grades.  Please take note of the Science book used in 6th grade (see the Booklist tab) so that you don’t use that in 5th grade at home.

Q:  Do I need to volunteer time at OliveTree?

A:  OliveTree pays our teachers and our aides.  We ask parents of kindergarteners to volunteer once per semester to help with snacks.  There are no other volunteer opportunities.  OliveTree is designed to give the homeschooling mom some time off each week.

Q:  Can someone help me with planning how OliveTree fits in with my homeschool?

A:  Yes!  Just email Barbara Frasco at barbarafrasco@gmail.com
